Yarn India
About the Founder
Shivani Chavan a through professional for a decade always had a passion for Sarees. She has accomplished too much in the field of operation and worked for big names like Nerolac etc. Growing up admist of cultural heritage of Maratha Empire in Satara, Shivani was very close to her cultural values. But her accomplishment were none less in a metrocity of Mumbai.

The Struggle
She always struggles to stike a balance between her corporate and cultural values when it came to workwear. So she decided to roll up her sleaves and design her own range of work wear with universal touch in sarees.
The Essence
She reached out to us to develop a brand identity that matches the simplicity and uniqueness of her brand that is ubiquitous in nature. Considering the name that she had chosen for her brand had its own uniqueness ‘YARN’. We understood that she wanted to inculcate the ethnicity, maintain the simplicity and wanted to make her brand universal

Inspiration
While researching for her brand we looked at various sources of inspiration and started digging the history of yarn in India. While researching a thought struck of Mahatma Gandhi’s Charkha, which then led to a idea of a never ending spool
The Idea
Then we started to sketch out an idea of the logo that is designed with one thread. We developed various versions of the idea and multiple option and finally landed up with a final result
